Switch to Open Floorplan

A 1979-built ranch home in Ballwin had become a challenge when a wheelchair was introduced into the family. Along with needing a new, more navigable kitchen, the living room with a sunken floor was left untouched, and the dining room was languishing.

Mosby removed the wall separating the kitchen from the dining room. The floor of the living room was raised to be flush with the hall and dining area. Now one side of the house is an open floor plan with enlarged entries to the rest of the home.To the untrained eye,the home has an inviting flow that's perfect for the parties they have returned to hosting. For the family, it's perfectly accessible to everyone.
