A New Kitchen For The Holiday Season

With fall just around the corner, this custom kitchen remodel exudes the warmth and open space for family gatherings and holiday entertaining.

A New Kitchen for the Holidays

Adding Space And Sophistication

The kitchen was extremely outdated and inefficient with failing appliances. The space was also closed off to the rest of the house and too small to be a space for entertaining. The client wanted to update the kitchen with the latest technology and create a functional space for family gatherings.

A Kitchen Designed For Family Gatherings

Mosby Planner & Designer Jill Worobec, CKD, UDCP, designed the kitchen to be more efficient with all flush inset appliances, the latest technology and space saving drawers. Other updated elements included a Subzero and a flat screen located behind retractable pocket doors. With the vaulted ceiling, recessed lighting was not an option so a cable system was installed as a unique way to add efficient lighting.

Beyond making the kitchen functional, the design elements truly make this kitchen remodel unique. The island has custom decorative panels to mimic the drawerheads so it looks double sided. The waterfall edge on the island was detailed with hand matched seams. A custom designed and fabricated steel pedestal was created for the island table which gives the appearance of a tree.
