Painter

Reports To: Project Manager

Job Purpose: To provide excellent painting and paint repair of interior and exterior remodeling projects to support the Mosby Team in completing all jobs on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to perform basic and advanced painting processes
  • Surface preparation
  • Formulate, test, mix and apply paint to meet required specifications
  • Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Keep job sites safe and clean and adhere to all safety procedures
  • Maintain consistent on-time attendance

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-year residential painting experience
  • Knowledge of and ability to properly operate all necessary painting equipment / machines, including but not limited to extension ladders, walk boards, lifts and scaffolds
  • Good organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • High-school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Supply your own tools
  • Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, cheerfulness and adherence to safety procedures
  • Have your own transportation, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to transport yourself and materials between jobsites
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, work with your hands, climb ladders, and move 75 lbs. independently for extended periods of time
