Total Home Makeover with Exteriors by Mosby

This Ladue, Missouri home was originally a century-old stable. With each passing generation, the home had grown to fit the needs of the family. For this exterior transformation, the client wanted to pay tribute to the historical aspect of the house. 

Craftsman Style Exterior 

This exterior makeover included replacing siding with a custom look, installing a new roof and doors, adding new window trim and designing a beautiful new front porch. From the front-entry gable to the wind vane of a horse, this transformation was paying tribute to the original house and updating the exteriors to the modern needs and function of today.

In order to reflect the heritage of this home as well as create a continuous flow of the house, the siding replacement was an essential component of the design element. Kurt Doll, Home Consultant for Exteriors by Mosby, helped the client achieve the look of their home. By installing LP SmartSide siding, this higher end option with a custom color of blue created the premium finish.

The roof replacement used designer shingles to add to the historical appearance of the home. New doors were installed as well as trim around the windows to update the style and function of the exterior. Designing the front porch, the goal was to recreate the front entry gable back to its stately grandeur. The new columns with stone bases matched the new stone walkway. The stained beadboard ceiling complimented the new stained front door.
