We tend to shy away from products like this. They work well for about 30% of the water situations in the Midwest.

I visited their website and I saw in their video that much of the water is diffused out on the lawn near the foundation. The purpose of rain gutters is remove and drain water away from the house foundation.

I question if this product can handle large and rapid amounts of rainfall produced by our mid-western storms. If your gutters fail to remove the rainfall deluge, these products could casue a gutter overflow situation which counter to the purpose of rain gutters.

Whenever possible, we recommend you bury downspout piping with solid 4” PVC pipe and extending them a minimum of 10 feet away from the house foundation. This product does not appear to extend as far away from the home as recommended and may contribute to foundation water leaks.
