Yes we design and build accessible ramps and install lifts to improve access to homes. These ramps and lifts are subject to the same zoning, setback and building permit requirements as a deck or porch. They can sometimes be difficult to comply with slope, length, height, railing and setback requirements when building a wheelchair ramp on the front of the house. Other methods of access are sometimes a better choice. We can certainly help you with the advice, design and construction to get your parents more comfortably in and out of their house.
